On October 21, WiLDCOAST will host the 9thAnnual Dempsey Holder Ocean Festival and Surf Contest in Imperial Beach, California. Proceeds from the event support WiLDCOAST’s efforts to protect the most threatened coastal areas and wildlife in Southern California and Mexico. Dempsey, my Grandfather, was a legendary California lifeguard and big wave surfing pioneer.
